Ventrilo and CS:S (Volume Control)

I had this recurring problem today that when I was dead, there was always a big gun fight and I couldnt hear anyone on Vent. So I came up with this trendy script that Wilson DEMANDED & THREATENDED :wink: that I post it on the forum (Wilson, im expecting a pie for this). So this thread will mute and unmute the game sound (including the ingame mics i believe) with the press of a "key".

*WARNING* this script assumes that when you play CS:S that you have the game volume (under options, sound) to maximum.

bind key "incrementvar volume 0 1 1"

You can also have it only go to half volume and back to normal.

If you guys have problems or would like me to post variations please let me know either through PM or the thread.

Once again Reokue. Thanks for the script. It works great. Gives my ears a break in between rounds as i have the sound cranked! I have started to use a much lower sound volume due the loss of hearing I have been experiencing. :shock: What? Oh? Nevermind? Mostly when my date is talking though. :wink:
