Getting rid of WAV files [Archive] - Thinking Man Servers

Hi All,

There are a bunch of WAV files in my 'sound' folder that is in my counter strike folders. I think I got them from connecting to weird servers. Can I get rid of them without damaging my game? Can I just deleted everything in the sound folder? Any advice would be greatly apperiacted. Thanks a bunch.

Yes you can delete the whole folder. If you connect to a server that uses custom sounds they will download again.

Sorry I didn't reply earlier, but thank you for the advise. I'll get rid of those wav files. Since Thinking-man servers are the only ones that I play on right now, I don't think I'll have anymore problems. Thanks again for the help and having such great servers to play on.
